Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! Here's a little haiku poem I wrote in honor of the occasion.

New Year Haiku

Happy New Year, friends!

May this be your best year yet,

filled with all that's good.

May God bless you, keep you, be with you in this new year and always. May you be filled with even more love, blessings and joy than you give to others. And, as I think an old Irish blessing goes, may your blessings be many and your troubles be few!

Please guide me, mold me

Help me please you more each day

Blessed Lord Jesus.

Grow Your love in me

Help me be what You desire

Savior of my soul.

It's New Year's Eve. Before bed last night, after prayer time and a bit of thought about the upcoming New Year, I wrote these short poems. I hope they encourage you. 

We don't have to wait for a new year, however, to have a fresh start. As Pastor Joshua Otte says, "Jesus guarantees a fresh start EVERYDAY of the year, not just the FIRST DAY of the year."
