"Love Finds A Home" Book Review

Enjoyed this lovely "heartwarming inspirational romance" story by Kathryn Springer. It's the second in her Mirror Lake series (I enjoyed the first one too). I read this on Sunday both on the way to and from viewing the Washington DC cherry blossoms and finished it up last night. I read a lot of these Love Inspired books but I don't always review them. What stood out as special to me about this book were two quotes that  I'll share them with you.

On page 43 the heroine's friend points out "When God gives you a gift, it's part of His plan." I've been blessed in so many ways and I am very thankful. There are a few gifts I have that I'm not sure how God wants me to use them but this reminds me to keep my eyes open for God given opportunities.

On page 100 the hero's youth pastor brother reminds him that "We're both under divine construction." This is true for all Christians. As long as we're here on this earth, God is working on our hearts, minds and souls. We aren't perfect and we never will be on this side of heaven. That's ok. That's not an excuse to be sinful but it is a very freeing observation. Confess any sins and move on. Let's get out of God's way and let Him work his divine will in our lives. May God bless you!

Note: I borrowed this book from my local library and have no material connection with anyone or thing mentioned in this article (although I do envision myself publishing a Christian romance novel in the future).

Sounds good, I'll look for it...love the cherry blossom pictures too...I'm enjoying the nice 70 degree weather here in Rhody...can't believe it but I'll take it! Stay well... "

Thank you Judi! I didn't see the comment here even though there was an email notice that it was here lol. Spring is early here too but I don't mind at all :)

Did you know that Love Inspired has a Historical line now? And they're looking for authors. I think you'd be great! More information should be at www.eharlequin.com then look for the writers section :)
