Dogs and Bees at the U.S. National Arboretum

Happy wild Wednesday! Earlier this month I enjoyed a walk in the U.S. National Arboretum and saw these cute bees and dogs. I hope the photos make you smile.

I wanted to pet this cute little dog and ask its human what breed he was but they walked in the other direction before I got the chance (I used my zoom to get the photo).

This bee was parked on top of two pretty, mostly red, bicolor marigolds.

And this adorable dog was keeping watch while her humans slept. I love how she's got one ear up.

These bees were really fun to photograph so I had to include one more image.

That's all for this week's wild Wednesday feature. Which was your favorite photo from today's post? Do you have a favorite dog or bee memory to share? I'd love to hear it! May God bless you!

Pictures of Bentley, My New Dog Friend

This is Bentley. He's 14 months old, part dalmatian, part unidentified mix and a whole lot of love. He's really my neighbor's dog but they let me love on him like he's my own so I thought I'd share his cuteness here.If you have a good idea what kind of mix he is in addition to dalmatian please comment below or email me at lovejoypeas@gmail.com and I'll share it with his new parents.

Walking around his new back yard.

He really was investigating the flowers. Cute!

 Basking in the sun.
Spotting a potential canine friend across the street. Bentley is loving his new home and I feel blessed to have a new dog buddy. May God bless you with abundant love dear friends!

Cherry Blossom Dog

Photograph by Ben Wheeler
Turns out my husband was disappointed that I didn't post his cherry blossom dog photographs so, not being one to disappoint my husband, and in hopes that you'll get a big smile (fitting in with the joy part of my blog's theme), here you go. He shot these pictures near the Tidal Basin in Washington DC, close to where the Cherry Blossom Festival is held. It appears that the dog's tail was actually dyed pink; however, the dog didn't seem to mind and was happily prancing down the sidewalk. Not knowing the dog's actual name, I call it the Cherry Blossom Dog because its tail matches some of the more pink blooms. I loved that its leash was also pink. Of course, I love pink anyway.

Hope you enjoyed my beloved's Cherry Blossom Dog photos. May God bless you and keep you this spring and always, dear friends!
