Blooming Tillandsia (Air Plant) Photos

For the very first time, one of my air plants (a tillandsia variety) produced a flower! It bloomed back in November but better late than never with sharing the photos. At first it only showed the reddish pink blooms and later on the blueish purple blooms popped out of the red parts.

Here's an overview of the whole air plant. I lay it here and there around the house and spray it with water once or twice a week.
